here we are
stuck in this reality
longing to change the world
living the dream only once a week
once a week
thats when I hear your voice
thats when we talk about all we have
thats when everything explodes to technicolor
my mind is reeling
my heart jumping
my soul swimming
soaring up on cloud nine
and when we have to say goodbye
we take a big peek behind the curtain
yes, we see the reality
yet we do our best to ignore it all week
until we can meet and dream again.
